Momentum is building for Cairde Páirc Mhaigh Cuilinn, our vital fundraising initiative, as Cumann Iománaíochta Mhaigh Cuilinn promoted the campaign last Friday evening, May 16th. Chairman Eanna Noone and Secretary Niall Mannion were joined by our fantastic U-10 hurlers, who are making impressive progress this season. This event is central to the spirit at the heart of the Cairde Páirc Mhaigh Cuilinn project.
Our campaign underscores our commitment to nurturing young players and ensuring that future generations have the facilities they need to thrive in Gaelic Games.
During the evening, they spoke to parents and management from their U6 to U11 age groups, and even senior players. There was a huge interest and positive feedback from parents regarding the project and the new pitch. They hope to hold another information evening soon.
Cairde Páirc Mhaigh Cuilinn aims to expand our facilities, including the immediate need for a full-size, durable sand-based grass pitch that can also be used as two juvenile pitches. We also plan for a lighted walkway to facilitate safe year-round use, extended car parking for safe access, and an upgrade to our current children’s play area with up-to-date fun and safe equipment. These developments are crucial to support our bulging and growing juvenile clubs, who currently struggle to get onto the pitch for the recommended number of sessions, and to provide our senior clubs with the necessary availability to compete at the highest level.

Every contribution helps to build a stronger, more vibrant club and community for generations to come.
